At the present time, our TS has been target for a denial of service attack. As it stands at the time of this writing, our particular ip/port combination had to have an ACL filter placed upon it, as the DOS was affecting multiple servers. The server company has stated that the filter normally remains in place for 24-48 hours. I have notified the server company that they have two options: restore service immediately, or issue a full refund, and I will take our business elsewhere. They have also been notified that failure to comply will result in legal action.
Additionally, all relevant information regarding the attack will be passed along to appropriate law enforcement entities.
